Car - Train - Lego table

Using an old table top, some construction paper, a few stickers and poly we made this fun spot to play with cars, trains, Lego's or whatever the kids want. Each little property has a map that shows where it is (Hawaii, New York...) along with an image of something that the state is known for (volcanoes, Statue of Liberty...)

Tear Drop Swing

This swing can be found at IKEA for about 4o dollars.

Platform Swing

Bolster Swing

This bolster swing is made by taking 2 - 2x4's of your desired length and screwing together (or using a 4x4). Wraping the boards in padding (even old towels or sheets can be used) and then wrapping it all in fabric. You would need to add a hook to each end and then add the rope. Because your hooks in the ceiling are in the joists/beams they can easily hold the weight of an adult.

Hanging Swings Inside

These can be found at home improvement stores (to attach straps to a trailer)...make sure they can hold a weight that is acceptable for the swing/platform you are hanging plus your child (and/or yourself!)...these MUST be attached to a beam/joist in your ceiling!

Chalk/Magnet Boards

Make chalk and magnet boards anywhere you want with chalk paint and magnetic paint (found at home improvement stores). The magnetic paint often requires 4+ coats to make it strong enough to hold magnets.

Chalk holder is an organizer from IKEA.

Storing Meds and Supplies

Ball Crawl/Loft/Fort

Soft/Padded Flooring

These floor pads are found at many big stores...much cheaper then ordering from a therapy catalog.
